Cheshire Quilters

The Cheshire Quilters’ Guild, founded in 1988, is a non-profit membership organization providing educational opportunities on quilting through monthly meetings, workshops, guest speakers and fellowship.

Our monthly newsletter Quilt Lines keeps members informed of programs, activities and events. In “odd-numbered years” the guild sponsors a biennial quilt show, Fall for Quilts, and produces a raffle quilt for fundraising purposes.

Since its founding, the Cheshire Quilters’ Guild has made wheelchair quilts for residents of area nursing homes. Our charitable work has expanded to include donations to Cheshire Medical Center Pediatrics, Cedar Crest, and the Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention. The guild also maintains a rotating quilt display at the Kingsbury Cancer Center of the Cheshire Medical Center.

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the each month at 7:00pm at the Keene Recreation Center, 312 Washington Street, Keene.

Quilters of all levels, as well as anyone interested in quilting are welcome to attend. Annual dues are $20.
